Terms of service

1. Who may use the service

Businesses only: repair shops, buyback and resale businesses and wireless dealers, approved by STACKS after an application. We may decline or close an account at our discretion. Consumers may not use the service.

2. What you promise us

You submit only devices your business owns or is authorised by the owner to unlock, and you choose the service whose stated condition matches the device. You keep your sign-in private and are responsible for orders placed from your account.

3. What we sell

The services listed on the services page, as The STACKS App sells them: carrier unlocks by tier, IMEI checks and account removal services. Each service carries its own condition, turnaround and refund term, shown on the quote before you order. The menu changes without notice; a service that is not listed is not on sale.

4. The promise and the warnings

Each quote states the service, the condition its tier applies, the turnaround and the refund term. Where an IMEI check or the quote carries a warning, it may require an acknowledgement before the order. An order placed against a warning is at your risk.

5. Wallet and prices

Services are paid from a prepaid wallet. The first top-up is $50 and opens the account and The STACKS App. The price of a service is the price shown in the app at the time of order; prices can change between orders. Wallet credit pays for unlocks only, is not cash, cannot be transferred and does not earn interest. Questions about unused credit: win@unlockstacks.com.

6. Refunds

Refund terms are per service and the quote states them. A service marked refundable returns its price to your wallet if the unlock fails. A service marked no refund is charged whether or not it succeeds. If an order shows complete and the device still reads locked, report it in the app; we take it back to the supplier and credit your wallet when the supplier confirms the unlock did not happen, or when we decide to absorb it. Completed services and orders placed against a warning you acknowledged are not refunded. Orders can be cancelled only during the short undo period shown at order time.

7. Turnaround

Each service carries a turnaround and the quote states it. Turnarounds are estimates, not guarantees. An order that runs well past its estimate is reviewed by us.

8. The app

Access to The STACKS App opens with the first wallet top-up and continues while the unlock account is in good standing. Sign-in is Google or Apple. The app's own terms apply to its other features.

9. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the price of that order. We are not liable for the value of a device, lost sales or your customer's claims. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
